To extend the service life of material turnover boxes, efforts should be made in three aspects: selection, usage specifications, and daily maintenance.
When selecting, appropriate materials should be chosen according to the load – bearing requirements and the usage environment. For the food industry, PP material is suitable; for industrial scenarios requiring impact resistance, HDPE material can be considered. This avoids premature damage caused by mismatches between the material and the needs.
In the process of use, the principle of “handling with care” should be followed. The stacking height should not exceed the load – bearing limit of the box to prevent deformation. During transportation, the boxes should be fixed with straps to avoid mutual collision. At the same time, it is forbidden to use the turnover boxes in scenarios beyond the design scope, such as holding high – temperature liquids or sharp metals.
Daily maintenance is also crucial. After each use, the residues in the box should be cleaned up in time to prevent corrosive substances from adhering for a long time. If there are slight cracks in the box, special glue should be used for repair; if the structural parts are damaged, the accessories should be replaced in time. When storing, choose a dry and ventilated place, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or snow.
Through scientific management, the service life of ordinary turnover boxes can be extended by more than 30%, which significantly reduces the cost of material transportation.
