Plastic crates mainly refer to those made of high-impact HDPE, i.e. low-pressure high-density polyethylene material, and PP, i.e. polypropylene material, as the main raw materials. During production, the body of the plastic crate is usually made by one-time injection molding, and some are also equipped with corresponding crate covers, which can be mainly divided into flat covers and flip covers.
At present, many plastic crates are designed to be foldable when they are structurally designed, so that the storage volume can be reduced when the crate is empty, and the logistics costs can also be reduced. At the same time, for different use requirements, the product specifications also include many kinds, and the shapes are also different. However, the overall trend is to develop towards the standard plastic pallet matching size.
At present, when manufacturing plastic crates in China, the commonly used standards include: 600*400*280 600*400*140 400*300*280 400*300*148 300*200*148. These standard-sized products can be used in conjunction with plastic pallet sizes to facilitate unit management of products. At present, the product can be mainly divided into three categories, as follows:
Standard logistics box: This type of plastic box is actually quite common and belongs to stackable logistics turnover box. In actual application, whether there is a matching box cover or no box cover will not affect the flexible stacking of the upper and lower boxes or multiple boxes.
Attached lids container: This type of plastic box product can be used with an inner concave outer flip box cover when the box is stacked. The main feature of this type of product is that it can effectively reduce the storage volume when the box is empty, which is convenient for saving the round-trip cost during logistics turnover. It should be noted that when using this type of product, when stacking the upper and lower boxes or multiple boxes, the matching box cover must be used at the same time to achieve stacking.
Stacking nesting box: This type of plastic box product is more flexible in use. It does not require the help of other auxiliary accessories to achieve the stacking of empty boxes. Moreover, this type of plastic box can also save a lot of storage volume and round-trip costs for logistics turnover when it is empty.
